“The programme here forced me to think out of the box, search for new solutions to existing policy problems, and search for creativity and innovations in the field. It was a completely new approach for me. The programme also showed that no matter how undeveloped a country is, there are always opportunities out there. It is often up to the individual to decide how to use these opportunities, how to challenge oneself and be courageous enough to embrace these opportunities.
The University of Central Asia and the LKY School have a partnership agreement that provides full scholarships to three students, who will be considered for academic appointments at UCA. I was attracted by the thoughtful selection of modules that the school provided, the faculty, and the fact the school is situated in Singapore. This is a hub for the nearby developing countries, whose experience is so valuable to explore.”
